Terms-conditions-explanations
1. The registration and the attendance of lectures are free.
2. All citizens over the age of 18 have the right to participate. The selection process is illustrated with order of priority.
3. Registration opens on Monday 30 November 2018.
4. The lectures which take place in each regional section by professors and scientific experts of the Democritus University of Thrace and of the Technological Educational Institute of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace are about the following main themes areas:
REGIONAL UNIT OF EVROS
Alexandroupolis
• “MEDICINE IN MODERN SOCIETY”. Maximum number of participants is 100 persons. Lecture room: NOMARCHEIO, chamber ‘ALEXANDROS KRITIS’ (second floor), each Wednesday at 19:00-21:00.
• “CIVIC EDUCATION”. Maximum 100 participants. Lecture room: NOMARCHEIO, chamber: ‘ARMONIA’ (ground floor), each Wednesday at 19:00-21:00.
Orestiada
• “ENVIRONMENT AND HUMAN”. Maximum 100 persons. Chamber: Hall of cultural multicenter of municipality in Orestiada, each Wednesday at 18:00-20:00.
REGIONAL UNIT OF RHODOPE
Komotini
• “HUMAN AND STATE”. Maximum 100 persons. Lecture room: Chamber “GEORGIOS PAVLIDIS” - Regional Unit of Rhodope, each Wednesday at 19:00-21:00.
REGIONAL UNIT OF XANTHI
Xanthi
• “THE ENGINEERING IN OUR LIFE”. Maximum 70 persons. Lecture room: room of Prefectural Council - Regional Unit of Xanthi, each Wednesday at 19:00-21:00.
REGIONAL UNIT OF KAVALA
Kavala
• “LIVE - ACT - I’M IN TECH”. Maximum 70 persons. Lecture room: Chamber “NIKOLAOS MARTIS” (ground floor) - Regional Unit of Kavala, each Wednesday at 17:00-19:00.
• “THE ART OF ATTEMPTING”. Maximum 70 persons. Lecture room: Chamber “NIKOLAOS MARTIS” (ground floor) - Regional Unit of Kavala, each Wednesday at 19:00-21:00.
REGIONAL UNIT OF DRAMA
Drama
• “ENVIRONMENT AND FOOD TECHNOLOGY”. Maximum 70 persons. Lecture room: meeting room of Regional Unit of Drama, each Wednesday at 19:00-21:00.
5. In each of the lectures in addition to the limit of participants 20 more will participate as ‘’runners-up’’.
6. Subscriptions are made in the following ways:
• Electronically with completion of the application which is available on the official website: www.acadimia.eu and on the websites of regional units.

7. For the success of completion of registration, the submission of a photocopy of the identity card is obligatory. The deposit will be made at the attendance of the first lecture to the secretariat of Academy.
ATTENTION:
The photocopy of the identity card must be submitted, otherwise the right of attendance is removed and the first runner-up is called to participate.
8. There will be 13 lectures for each thematic section in 2018-2019. Start of lectures: 05-12-2018, end of lectures 27-03-2019.
9. The detailed program of lectures, the speakers and informations can be found on the website of Acadimia.
10. Certificate of participation is granted only if the participant has a presence in at least 60% of the lectures of the thematic section which has selected. The calculation of attendance will become proportionally on the basis of the date of registration.
11. The content of the lectures is determined solely by the speakers.
12. At the time of entry into the lectures, the participants will sign the attendance book and only until the start of the lecture. The secretariat may request to confirm the identity card of the participant. The turnout will be made no later than the beginning of the lecture, while the withdrawal will not be made before the completion of the lecture.
13. Recording, filming or in any other way, capturing the lecture without the written agreement of the provider of the program is prohibited.
14. For any suggestions, there will be a special form titled: ‘’proposals-highlights’’. The form will be made available by the secretariat in the place of the lectures and be given back to the secretariat of the Acadimia - structure of lifelong learning of Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
15. At the end of the lectures there will be evaluation of the program.
16. Personal data are only used for the purposes of the Acadimia and Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and guaranteed by law about personal data protection which is in force in our country.
